As the campaign grows, at times, we find ourselves in a difficult situation. We have been approached by many young Haitians who want to attend post-secondary school, but often times they do not have the financial means to do so. Our campaign is committed to collaborate with community based organization in Haiti in order to empower the youth of the country. At the same time, we do not want to get involved in starting new projects, for we believe that there are enough organizations doing wonderful projects throughout the country.

When we get approached by a young Haitian student, who asked us to help them with their studies, what should we tell them? Should we simply refer them to another organization? should we seek the necessary funding for them? or should we just say, sorry this is not one of the things that we do.

Unfortunately, we can't ignore such a growing plea. After looking tirelessly for organizations that could offer those young individuals a chance at making something out their life through the gift of education, we judge that it is important that we do something concrete about this issue. For such reason, we plan to start a scholarship fun that will award $500- 1000 yearly to students who have demonstrated great academic ability and financial needs. More of this scholarship fund can be found here.

We create this scholarship fund to stay true to our goals of giving access to education to as many Haitian youth as possible. If you want to support our initiative, please click here.

This social campaign is about making change happen. As you might be aware change is one of the few constants in life. Therefore it is not enough to say that we seek change, but rather we must say we change for good. For the good of whom or what?

We are preoccupied in doing good. We want to see the good of humanity comes a reality for all Haitians. We know that goodness can bring change, and it is only by doing good that we seek to change our society. One person at a time, one kind act at a time. And together we can all do good for the benefit of society.
